Flowers are such a classic gift. They’re perfect for celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries, or if you’re looking for something thoughtful to give, just because. At Blackwater Gifts and Flowers, we make beautiful flower arrangements for any occasion and we keep our shop in Blackwater updated with stocks of fresh florals and supplies.


We create bouquets and arrangements both big and small, with prices starting at $30. We invite you to drop by our store at Blain Street to see and appreciate our flowers in person. You can also call us to place an order and we’ll arrange to have it picked up or delivered.

We are more than happy to work with you to make your big day magical and everything you envisaged.

We have a minimum pricing guide to give you an idea of our starting point. 
Ceremony and Reception florals will have to be quoted on, as there is such a vast range of difference in style, size and flower value.  An upfront deposit will be required to secure a quote, and this will be deducted from the overall price of the package upon acceptance of the quote.


Quotation and Booking Procedure

For a more detailed quote a deposit of $50 is required to be paid up front, and will be deducted from the overall price of the package on acceptance of the quote.
Upon acceptance of the provided quote 50% payment is required to secure the booking.  Balance is to be paid two (2) weeks prior to the wedding date.  Failure to pay could result in cancellation of booking.

  • How long does a bouquet of flower last?

A flower’s vase life depends on its type and how long the florist has kept it in the shop before they are sold. typically, cut flowers last for at least 5 days and up to 14 days with proper care.

  • How do I make my flowers last longer?

Keep the flowers in your vase fresh by making your own preservative. Dissolve 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and 3 tablespoons of sugar in a litre of warm water. Make sure that the solution you prepared covers 3-4 inches of the cut stems.

  • How do I keep a bouquet fresh overnight?

One way to keep cut flowers fresh is to keep them in the fridge overnight. Storing flowers in the refrigerator makes a big difference in the summer or if you live in a home that tends to run warm.
